If you have found Community Calls valuable or had previously wanted to join a Forum, but worried that the logistics would not work for you, DLN Virtual Forums are the answer. It’s clear that our members have a deep desire to stay connected and share experiences with other principals – now more than ever. Virtual Forums provide the connection and advice of Community Calls and convenience of a video call (along with the option to meet in person from time to time if desired).

Virtual Forums resemble the Forums that we’ve launched in the past but these will have the advantage of being able to take place any time and any place. These small peer-to-peer groups provide inspiration, guidance and thought leadership with the ultimate goal of elevating our members, businesses and in turn – the entire industry.

Here is how Virtual Forums will work:

  • Each new Virtual Forum will be made up of up to 9 mixed members (Members, Professional Members and Partners) and will be geographically and professionally diverse and reasonably non-competitive.

  • The DLN team will identify a forum moderator for each group, who will be trained by a professional moderator. The duration of moderator training is 4 hours.

  • A launch meeting will be set with your new forum, selected moderator and professional facilitator for Forum training and Forum Norm creation. The duration of Virtual Forum training will be 4 hours.

  • As part of the Forum schedule, your individual group will set the calendar for future virtual meetings, frequency and length. Each group will determine certain convenient dates to meet in person, as well if desired. (We recommend each group attempts to meet in person at least once or twice during the year including at future Summits.)

  • For these initial launches, your professional facilitator will be John Drury. John has worked with DLN Forums since the beginning and recently hosted two highly successful Expert Access calls. John will train the moderators, train your individual groups and he will also guide your second meeting in order to ensure the quality of your experience is high level and that your group will be prepared to move forward with success.

  • The cost to join a DLN Virtual Forum is $700 per person which covers the cost of the professional facilitator training and related planning and preparation. Please note, joining a Virtual Forum requires a full year long commitment and Forums groups are expected to continue indefinitely.
