While in San Miguel de Allende for the DLN Summit excursion, our community enjoyed a private visit to the spiritual home of Casa Dragones, a suite of 17th-century stable buildings that the tequila brand has turned into what the New York Times calls “a showcase for Mexican design.” After living in the buildings for several years, Casa Dragones cofounder Bertha González Nieves and her wife, Mishele Wells, 56, its chief marketing and creative officer, hired architects Will Meyer and Marco Valle to renovate the buildings, then tapped curator Ana Elena Mallet and designer Raul Cabra to reimagine its interiors. See more from the DLN visit below and read the New York Times article about the spaces here.
