You should be receiving the latest issue of HIVE at any moment. The issue includes a traditional country home with an urban twist by Windsor Smith, an expansive Montana ski getaway by Gary McBournie, a capacious and functional Sag Harbor getaway by Lee Mindel, a Connecticut garden by Janice Parker, features from the newly enhanced Insiders Guide, and many more exciting projects by DLN members.

Each issue of HIVE is sent to all Members and Partners, and also distributed to an extensive list of influencers, editors, and design notables, with copies available at Partner showrooms around the country as well as the High Point Market.

We are starting work on the next issue which will be out in summer 2022, so please consider submitting. We are looking for unique and unexpected projects that you love and have special meaning to you.

In addition to information and photos of your unpublished projects, we want to know about any new product introductions, book publications, and other relevant projects you have recently undertaken.

For this issue, we are especially interested in:
– Your favorite kitchen projects. With warmer weather in sight for alfresco entertaining, we are planning a special section on unique kitchens featuring a mix of indoor, outdoor, and hybrid.
– Portraits of your dog. We would love to view your creative interpretations—including photographs, drawings, and paintings—that showcase your pets’ personalities.

The deadline for project submissions is April 4th. For dog portrait submissions, the deadline is April 18th.

Submission Guidelines:

  • High-res photos
  • Photographer’s credit
  • Photographer rights, if necessary
  • A 100-word description

We look forward to working with you to create the next issue of HIVE.
