This past week, the DLN traveled to Paris for Deco Off 2020. It seemed there was an even greater uptick in American interior designers and architects who landed on French soil for their annual dose of inspiration. That wasn’t hard to do with a 100 participating showrooms across the city.

A number of members were able to attend our Behind the Scenes privately touring thru the incredible Boiseries Féau & Cie with the third-generation owner, Guillaume Féau who is known for creating magical worlds from 18th c. French Boiseries to art déco work by Ruhlman. Others were off with Mathieu Bassée to Atelier Montex + Studio MTX (owned by Chanel) which is one of the finest embroidery workshops in the world founded in 1939. It was quite an experience moving thru the different floors all abuzz with last minute detailing for Paris Fashion Week.

Our gatherings culminated at the first apartment of David Giroire of Theoreme Editions who represents the some of the most outstanding young French talent of our day.
